The intense spiritual connection of the prophet Elijah, known in Hebrew as Eliáhu HanNavi, is shrouded in mystery and power. According to ancient scripture, Elijah climbed to the summit of Mount Carmel and, casting himself upon the earth, placed his face between his knees (1 Kings 18:42).
